Clematis ID needed

Is it possible to identify Sweet Autumn clematis by its leaves? I have two clematis plants in pots, and I have reason to believe that AT LEAST one is Sweet Autumn. I *hope* the other is jackmanii. Neither are anywhere near being big enough to flower anytime soon. Any advice?

Add photos of the plants with close-ups of the leaves, and you may get more response.
