You do not need a rug.

I might buy a sisal rug though & have the walls in a light sisal tone too. Click photo 2 for some ideas.

Your choice of linens is the only hint you give as to what you like..this is a great start but do you want to go whole hog with the look or will this be the only thing in the room this exciting? It appears to be black and white from your photo so any color will work with it..I would take it to the next level and get a patterned rug as well ...to really offer more advice ...pictures of the room would help

This is the bedroom. it's a small one bedroom apartment. so where the couch is, is where my bed will be. and with the flooring I would rather have a nice area rug. just looking for the right one!

yes that is the only window and coziness is good! this is my first place so I'm starting fresh!
