I agree with you, and if possible using large pots too.

When growing your plants outside as you do, using larger pots is easier and surely more space for roots must be beneficial for the plant. I would do so too if I didn't have severe indoor space problems. It's great when you can keep the family all together in one pot!

I was gifted with many large family pots late last year. Only problem is some had started to rot due to being root bound and moist. Have been repotting and so far all are doing great!
