although this room seems cluttered to you, its obviously the room of a very vibrant and creative person - notice the Oscar and Emmy award to the right of the window.

I've done hundreds of tapestries in my life taking up months each to do. But they follow a theme, a color continuity and a look that says sit here and chat,not SIT HERE THEN SCAT. I'd feel like Id want to pull out every book and redesign the mess. Books all over the place, up, down, sideways and all ways. There is no substantiating a mess, which this is. My home is comfortably, orderly and inviting. 99% of homes in HOUZZ are delightful, then you get ones like this...... Unbelievable. I'll wait for your next excuse.

That bedroom is not my idea of a beautiful room. It is very stuffy, hate the brown carpet.

Love this room! As a person who loves to be surrounded by things I love, I totally get the comfort this room brings its owner. Love both of the lamps.

I think the room is perfect. It is not cluttered, but if you look carefully it is things that have been collected over the years...a book lover, a person with a creative mind.

I like this room. It feels warm, inviting and my curiosity is piqued! Sorry it upsets you so Jedanna. I see many rooms on Houzz I think are hideous, but I don't go on rants about them. I hope you feel better soon.

The pictures you attached are of a very different style. The are not even comparable. If I had to choose I would definitely pick the bright colorful artistic room as oppose to your boring white room.and maybe you shouldn't be so hostile with you criticisms.
