Never heard of it. Just did a quick google and it appears to be a cold grower.

I don't think it would make it in Florida. How long have you had it in Texas?

Jane, I've had the plant only about 8-10 mo.. There is much disagreement over the species name, also disagreement on culture. So far it's handling our heat well +- 73 - 93. I'll keep a clse watch on it as temps rise even more.

Blooms are prettier now that they've stretched out a bit and they are a very delicate pink. Not detecting a scent and I've moved it into my kitchen window to fully enjoy it. I'm hoping the blooms will last until our August 4 OS meeting.
