I like Pink Pizazz. Genetic Dwarf is nice. Many of the Rob's violets also have pink in the variegation. Check out violetbarn.com for the Rob's violets as they are they hybridizer of them. There are at least 152 registered minis/semis with some pink in the variegation, so there are a lot to choose from. The hard part is finding a seller. I'd start with Rob's as they will be readily available and should have many to choose from.

I don't think Just Jeff is supposed to be pink. Of course it may be now.

You might check the Dean's varieties. I think some of those have pink. The Shirl's may too although not the couple I have. I will try to see if there are any pink ones. Rob's Slap Happy has pink, well sort of. Things have been turning pink that weren't pink before so you can't always tell by a description.

(Just Jeff says "variable pink." I wonder if they might have changed it. You can never tell about those things.) I did turn up a few in Mac's but most say "variable pink" and I wonder if that's because of some turning pink, not that they started out that way from the hybridizer.

I did an FC2 search and I didn't look at the descriptions but I am going to say with some it just depends. I had some of them and they are not pink here. Dean's and Shirl's did turn up and I think Dean's do run pink. Pink Dove was there and it is pink. Probably the best thing would be to look through something like Bloomlovers and see what some of theirs looked like. They had some Morgan's listed and some Cajun's although those seem hard to find. Again, there were ones there that are not pink in this house. It is possible that the description may say "variable" or not - you never know.

I see what you're saying-and thank you for the effort. There's one I ordered last week (can't remember which right now) that may or may not be pink-we'll see-and another I didn't bid on on eBay because it's official description said white variegated. Yet the seller insisted it was pink, so there's likely to be some circumstances in which some turn pink anyway. Jeff's (at least now) seems to be pink in the descriptions and pictures I've seen.

Snappyguy-I've ordered from Rob's quite a bit, but perhaps I missed some. Some of the ones I've done research on which indicated pink in the official descriptions did not show up described as pink variegated on Rob's website, so I've been a bit dubious.

Pictures I've seen of Pink Feathers have been anywhere from a little pink to just white variegated, yet the one I've got is blazing pink!

Once I get my new ones in I'll see what it takes to get the pink to come out well (lots of sun, I've read somewhere) and maybe try some "on the edge" cultivars.

As Diana mentioned-The Cajuns seem to have several pink variegated ones-I passed on a few because I didn't care for the flowers much. Dean's the same (though I lost bids on both a Dean's and a Cajun's) so I'll keep a closer eye out for them!

The hard part is that variegation is so fickle. Slightly elevated temperatures or an increase in fertilizer can make it completely disappear from new growth, only to return when conditions change. I can believe the same would happen with the actual coloration of the variegation as well, although I haven't experienced it myself. As far as the official descriptions for Rob's violets differing somewhat from what he has written online, he wrote the official descriptions of the plants he's hybridized. His website is a marketing tool and it seems several plants simply say "variegated," but if the official description says pink for that plant, it should be pink, at least under his usual growing conditions. In my hot growing climate I struggle to have nicely variegated plants, but Pink Pizazz has been a very good performer for me and definitely shows pink. I highly recommend it if you find it somewhere.
