The brass bed belonged to our clients. They had it for many years and I seem to recall it being in storage. During one of our visits we examined and inventoried their existing furnishing and found this bed. It is wonderful when heirlooms are reintroduced into our modern day to day life. After all, "things of quality have no fear of time".

I was searching for another brass bed, and found yours. I 'saved' this cause I liked the 'canopy' - is that basically 2 curtain rods that hold it up? Was it fabric from a bolt, or something else? Thanks much. - Deb
