Tips for growing highbush blueberries from seed.

I have some blackberry seeds in the frig stratifying now which I think would be planted very similar to blue berries. I will put them in a 72 cell flat with peat moss on a warm window seal probably around October, I will put 5 seeds into each cell and if more then 1 plant grows I will pick the best looking 1 plant and cut any others out of the cell, this way I don't have to disturb the roots when I transplant them to larger pots or to the ground, so If I'm lucky I will have 72 blackberries. I live in Atlanta, Ga so I hope to transplant by May once it starts heating up. If they get to large while in the house I'll transplant them to plastic cups. DON'T TRUST ME THOUGH, I'M A NEWBIE.

When you say blueberry 'farm' do you mean that this would be a commercial enterprise? If so it would be much more practical and effective to buy named cultivars of fruit bushes. Seed grown plants would take longer to crop and could turn out to be inferior since they will not be clones of the named parents. So your Top Hat and Chandler seeds will not produce Top Hat and Chandler bushes. If this is just for your own interest then there's no problem as you would not have quality and economic concerns.
