I have been able to finish two tops since July 1. It will take longer to actually sandwich, quilt and bind. This is my version of Valarie's Garden Gate. I enlarged the block to 12 in.
The main fabrics are part of a Robt. Kaufman collection called Fusions. I LOVE them. I had a pile of FQs and was saving them for something special. The inner square is a batik left from DGS's wedding quilt and the white is also from that quilt. (My carpet causes ripples).
the binding will be a blue batik also from that quilt.
and I have named it Sherbet Festival.
