Get the largest sample that you can get and live with it in your house for a while. If you still like it after a week, you are probably ok.....

I just called Silestone and was told by the customer service rep that White Arabesque is discontinued. I'm not sure I completely believe her though as my contractor picked up this sample for me. Perhaps Home Depot still has some slabs of it which is why they are handing out samples.

I'd really like to see a photo of it installed myself. I got a great quote on it just tonight at Home Depot.

I decided to take the plunge, so I'll post pictures once it's installed!

Not sure yet -- we have to have another contractor change the peninsula from two levels to one, so it all depends on when that can get done.

We just lowered our split level counter tops and installed Silestone Lyra and love it. So do the neighbors! Good luck!

We are also having it installed in the next couple weeks. I've had a hard time finding examples of it too, and it's not listed among the colors on Silestone USA's website.

We've had the peninsula lowered to one level, and it's an amazing change. The counters will be installed this week - will post pictures when it's done!

Thank you! Yes to the sink reveal, but the edge is bullnose. We ordered ours through Home Depot and they were running a special on the upgrades edges.

It's finally correctly installed, and the quartz is just beautiful!

I just ordered the White Arabesque too and was wondering how did it look. the samples they give are small but I like the Arabesque better then the Lyra. the guy is coming next week to make cutout measurements for our kitchen and so I am trying to get any information I can to ask or any pitfalls to avoid

None of the Home Depots I've visited have White Arabesque samples. What is the difference between W.A. and Lyra?

@forasong - WA is the new Lyra, which to me is a bit grainy. I like WA much better personally. White background and better veining.

I agree with aurory; White Arabesque has better veining -- longer and with more depth -- and is a little whiter. Lyra seems a bit "squiggly" to me. However, I've seen some lovely pictures of Lyra installations, so the difference may just show when you're close-up.

White Arabesque Silestone Quartz

I wonder why Silestone says it's discontinued? I just stopped by my Home Depot and they are featuring it as a new product.

Those that have it, do you think it is more white or cream/beige?

It is definitely white/gray! No cream to it in my opinion.

Hey y'all! Thanks for posting the pictures! My question is: how thick are the counter tops (or how thick can they come)? I'm looking for at least 2-3 inches.

2-3 inches is very not standard -- the usual is 3cm, which is about 1.5 inches. If you want the look of a much thicker counter, that is usually achieved by adding a mitered edge all the way around -- that is, essentially adding a vertical piece to create the illusion of a thicker counter, without your having to buy twice as much slab. it looks great. (no idea what they do about the cabinet height, but this is common enough that there must be a standard solution.)

I just ordered this, too. It was a bit worrisome ordering from such a small sample, but it looks great post-ers! I really wanted white marble, but I'm not careful enough for it.

Also, just to clear the air a bit, we're very sorry, @aurory13, for the miscommunication from whoever you spoke to with Silestone about the discontinuation of this color. It is a color that is still available in our offering as listed on our website: http://www.silestoneusa.com/colors/. The confusion might lie in the fact that this color is exclusive to The Home Depot. So if a customer wants to purchase it, they must go through a Home Depot store, though full slabs of the material can be viewed at our local Cosentino Centers around the U.S.

I am thinking of purchasing the White Arabesque for my Kitchen remodel. Does this white show stains at all.

Bonnie, so far no stains at all -- even after my husband unknowingly spilled red wine on it right before we went on vacation! We came back a week later and the wine came off with a wipe of a sponge. I couldn't be more pleased.

Can anyone show a picture of a seam? We ordered white arabesque and they let us know there might have to be a seam near one of the corners, I'm just wondering how this looks??

Eliz, this may be too late for you, but I consider white arabesque quite neutral. I'd have no worries about pairing it with blue.

Would this look ok with natural cedar wood island and white perimeter countertops? Anyone have any more pics?

Hi: Just an update -- I ended up using Eternal Statuario from Silestone and absolutely love it. It's cool with bluish gray tones - very subtle veins. It's looks pretty much white from a distance. I can't really say how it would look with cedar but it looks great (I think) with my white cabinets and white appliances. I've had it about a year and no stains -- and I have not been gentle.

Has anyone had a yellowing problem in the White Arabesque. Had a kitchen counter installed with yellow streaks in the top

Quartz can yellow in direct sunlight. I haven't had any issues with mine in about four years of indirect sunlight, though.

I will have WA installed on my bay window too. The window facing south and gets direct sunlight. Do I ask for problem of yellowing in the future?

Better think window treatments.
