I've seen a few forums relating to Bugs in CP trays but I've never seen bugs that have described what I'm having. I was checking on my CP today, and I see that in the water tray (There's about 1 inch of water) I see very thin bugs that are gray and have a black streak in the middle, it also has black eyes ( The size of a .), it also thrashes around quite violently in the tray, and if I tap on the tray, it hides into the soil from the bottom. I've just noticed this today and I think it might be larvae, but these are the width of a sheet of paper and the length is quite small, but if I had to vaguely describe it it would be the length of the /.
It looks like they might be feeding off dead matter at the bottom of the tray but I don't know if it's harmless [I'm probably overreacting]. But anybody know what these things are and what insecticide I could use on it? I haven't seen any harm done to any plants yet.
