What happened to my cucumbers?

Hi! My cucumbers have been deteriorating over the last couple of months. I'm a real newbie, and I thought they had a pest and /or a fungus problem, but neem oil hasn't helped. New growth initially looks promising, and then leaves turn brown and new fruits go limp and yellow. I'm posting a few photos from various points of the last month or so - and including a couple photos of a neighboring french bean plant in case that's helpful/ the problem is related.
