Bean flowers pollinate themselves, no action on your part should be necessary.

I don't know about pole beans... but I would assume they would work the same as bush beans. And I have successfully grown bush beans completely indoors in a hydroponic system from seed to dry stage harvest. I tapped the plants a few times while they were blooming, but that was more to make sure I felt I was doing my part rather than the plants really needing a bit of shaking up to ensure pollination, lol. But I figured it didn't hurt to shake them up a bit. If I recall correctly, there was some fairly decent air circulation in the room from vent fans and air scrubbers (to help with humidity and such), so that might have been helpful or totally not needed too.
