Yes, agreed! You could do a gallery on that wall BUT you would need a different array of artwork and/or objects. One nice large print would surely be easier.

You could also go with a couple prints that have the same theme.

I love large vintage food or beverage posters with a simple black frame for kitchens.

You could add a shelf and include some of the small plates that just look lost on the big wall by themselves.

However, that mirror at least reflects something that is near and dear to my heart.... the subway tile;)

If you had 3 plates vertically placed on each side, i could see that working. The mirror throws things off.

I think all you need are a few more plates (remove the small mirror) to hang up & over the sign in a half circle arrangement. Check thrift shops for unmatching plates in different colors & just keep adding to the collection. Your idea is right it just needs some expansion. (My maiden name is the same as yours & it is very unusual, we are probably related somehow.)

If you don't want to change what's up already, then I'd put them a little bit closer together but take away the mirror. You might already have some other bits that you can add to make it unique

So the thing on the bottom left is a mirror as well. I think closer together would be good as well. Maybe a shelf under or something on top going vertical??

Since the chairs are different styles, you could paint them all the same color in order to unify them...maybe white?

Depending on how large the spoon poster is, you may not need anything else. Less is more, but if you want to add more, a collection of antique spoons in two shadow boxes one above the other next to your poster may be really cute and on the other side add the Give us this day half way way between the larger poster (or play with layout) . I think I would also paint all of the chairs black for a more unified and industrial look. Adding bamboo blinds may also be nice.

HI -- Too many little things .... put the oval dish over with the others and move the bigger signage over to where the oval plate was . And now find a picture/print/painting/poster for the now open space in the center .
