When a pic gets inserted at the top,in due diligence,I backspace it out and click back where the thing was intended to go and try again. It tries my patience,yes,..but with perseverance you shall triumph!

The "edit" feature has become my best friend when it comes to this little snafu. LOL

Yes, I noticed the same thing a day or so ago .... Not the part about jumping elsewhere in the post, but definitely have had issues with the "loading" icon not turning into an uploaded photo ... Very frustrating!!!! >=(

I had to do like asleep did and edit it to get my pic to post. Even then it took forever!!!!

No joy. Even adding in "edit" didn't work for me. Fri July 24 20:45 UT/GMT.

Since it's not just me, I sent a note to tech support. I'm sure someone will look at it as soon as they get a chance. TY for the replies!

Same here. I finally managed to post the pics if they are the posted first, before any text. Then you can add text, either above or below. Still, only one pic will upload for me per post. It's been over a week now.

I also have the same issues but I've had the 'no photo loading problem' ever since the switch to Houzz. Sometimes it works and other times it decides not too.

Also some photos are showing up in threads compressed and smushed together for me. Is anyone else seeing this? That just started happening last week.

Yea mine are always compressed. I thought it was BC I use my phone to upload.

I always use my phone for everything I do on here and everything was fine in the past.

Also, Now for some reason I can't add photos to my ideabooks..... I can upload photos from within my phone but I can't put iimages from the net on there anymore. I've been able to do this in the past on my phone but now there's no option to click add images.

I'm trying to add photos of plants to the ideabook 'plants I want' so I don't forget the name of them and what they look like at etc. Just as a back up source. I tried creating a new idea book to see if that would some how change something but alas, nothing.

Don't force me to use the computer Houzz!

Do you folks have the same issue when you are uploading a new profile or cover photo or just in the discussions. That might help us track down the issue. We haven't been able to reproduce it quite yet.

I was able to upload a new profile photo, but it took a couple tries! =/ And I don't have the option to upload a cover photo, can only use a Houzz image. =(

It worked fine for me when I tried to change my profile photo and cover photo.

Though I must mention that photo arent coming in side ways anymore!

Before if I took a photo vertical with my phone it would be posted sideways. So I always had to take photos landscape to avoid this. Though, yesterday I uploaded two photos that I took vertically and they came in completly normal!

TY, Emily. I was able to change my cover & profile photos a minute ago w/o problems. Playing with uploading into a thread just now, the pic uploaded but I was typing when it finished & when I hit the backspace key, it erased the pic even though my cursor wasn't near the pic. I uploaded it again, while typing, and the pic showed up where my cursor was when I started the upload. Added another pic to the discussion while not typing but it never showed up, the green circle disappeared several times, both while not typing on that window (just watching the green circle,) and while typing in another window while it was uploading. I tried it 5 times while just watching the green circle, not clicking or typing anything after selecting the pic. Every time, the green circle spun for about 15 secs, then disappeared.

I've been having an issue lately when editing.... If I click somewhere in the paragraph it will put the words in a square. This square won't allow me to click inside of that square to continue typing and if I somehow manage to get the cursor to where it should be, it won't allow me to add a space between words......
