Have eaten lots of different figs over the years and on my palate this one is my favorite.

They are UcDavis cultivars and picked a good looking branch a few years back and did an air layer.The air layered plant (on the right) has some branches that look real good and will do air layer next season from that plant.

To note on the air layered plant there are several leaves that have 2 thumbs as well instead of the usual single or plain 3 lobed leaf not seen in these pictures, a recently emerged leaf that shows leaf and thumbs well.

Younger plant is holding its own with some figs removed on the good branches to get faster elongated growth and its working out.
