These are beautiful trees, Jericson. How I would love to have a specimen such as these. This what you are working towards. You are well on your way.

Jericson, I assumed that your newest acquisitions where purchased and therefore had asked you, but this is not a problem. What you have been sharing with us is very pertinent and gives us all something to strive for or at least get enjoyment from.

I hope that you will continue, as I have learned a lot from your tutorials.

Jericson, you have shown me some really cool things and I don't want to see you go. I have been enjoying reading your posts and comparing seedling growth in our different environments has been a true learning experience. Please reconsider.

Don't let one or a few discourage you. It seems myself and many others really enjoy your posts.

Jericson, your growth experiments and documentation are quite interesting. Don't mind the few faultfinders. You should stay. :-)

JP, it would sadden me if you leave. I think I was the one who introduced you to this forum. You have been so generous with your time to post pictures of your adenium adventure. Maybe the person who messaged you misunderstood your motives and/or was jealous of your acquisitions.

Don't go. I'm a person who needs alot of help with my adeniums. Don't let a few bad apples with attitude spoil it for everyone else or you!

Sounds like a misunderstanding has happened here? I hope you will stay around as we all learn from each other here. Those plants are amazing, and no need to feel you can't post pics of bought in specimens....I' m sure you are not the first to have done that...I have posted pics of plants I've been gifted! We would be hard pressed to find a contributor who hasn't shown gifted or bought specimens.

FWIW, I actually started this Adenium forum and my aim was to get like minded people together to show, talk and educate each other in growing these stunning plants...and to forge friendships despite the continents, oceans and thousands of miles that separate many of us. It was never my intention for people to only talk/show their own plants, and I'm not aware that has ever been a GwebHouzz rule. Sometimes comments can be taken out of context, I feel sure this will have been the case here so I hope you will continue to contribute and help us all to appreciate what we have here.

Here's hoping to see you back real soon? Gill UK

It is too bad, if someone has sent a private message through to someone and made them feel unwelcome for any reason. Private messages are not meant to be for hastles or unfriendly chat. I hope that this is not the case. It definitely is not the reason I continue with this site (Adeniums). I would hope that if this is the case that the individual would at least send an oppoligy or explanation.

Jericson is relatively new and we need new blood in this Adeniums group to keep it vital.

Aw I enjoy looking at your threads And seeing the pics of your super plants. I'm sure there has been a misunderstanding somewhere. Please carry on with the site, it would be a shame If you disappear

I believe that the very heart of what we are doing here is science (meaning why everyone follows this forum, yes even those just looking for help with problems). For science to progress everyone needs to exchange knowledge and ideas. The more people that are here the faster we can discover groundbreaking information for everyone's benefit.

This may sound a bit over the top but wouldn't it be great if because of our collective effort we found ways guarantee a huge caudex every time, guarantee doubles, triples or even foolproof pest resistance?

So let's forgive and get back to what we do best. Sharing information and progress.

Jericson - Never saw this thread. Fill's in some of the blanks though.

    Did I grow this???

No. But it's the reason I grow Adeniums today! (Thanks "Loveplants2".)

Jericson, it seems you haven't left thankfully. As far as I'm concerned any picture is inspirational, whether it's the OP's or third party. Keep them posting!

Jericson is active as much as he is able and has wonderful plants.

Usually it is common practice when showing someone's Photo, credit is given to the owner of this plant and/or information.

This has been buried for so long, what is the point of dredging this thread up, now.

I like this forum because of there knowledge and beautiful pictures and the people who are always willing to help each other out ! Dennis

Dennis this thread is old and we would prefer to stop the replies. Jericson is still alive and kicking, posting frequently.

    Oooh now I see !

What! Should I have sent him a private message??

(Maybe I should have, because my post certainly didn't warrant a reply, nor was it intended to net a bunch of negativity from those without understanding of it's meaning.)

Perhaps, it's the equivalent; of an inside joke.?
