It's been a week since I made my mix and put it in plastic pots. I've kept them covered in plastic in the shade.
They are still soft when I poke them to test them. I unmolded one and it retained its shape, but the hypertufa is still crumbly, not all that different from when I made them last weekend.
Did I not get the water ratio right? Or is it the crazy Georgia humidity that's keeping them from curing?
FYI I did a 1:1.5:1.5 mix. Did vermiculite and perlite about half and half rather than just one or the other. Am making mushrooms so I wanted a bit of white specks.
