It could be dehydrated depending on your watering / weather / soil conditions. On the other end of the spectrum, it could be rotting but I would lean towards dehydration this time of year. Hard to say without a little more info or a picture but that would be where I would start. Also, sometimes, especially after a year or more the soil can become compacted and a bit hard to get water to penetrate the roots so it could be possible to water and yet not have the center of the root ball actually getting wet.

It's lossy about 4 buds, not at a fast rate, over several days. Firm stem about 6 inches above the soil.

I don't see any leaves! If no leaves, then you should not be watering. Likely the stem is rotting from too much moisture in the soil. Can you pull back soil around the base of the trunk? You might see rot there.

I checked, below soil level there is no rot and I went down 2-3 inches

I watered mine when it had no leaves but had an inflo. Water that kid so it will go ahead and flower. Just my 2 cents.
