I'm new to composting in general. I recently decided to try vermicomposting indoors with a few red wrigglers I found in my potting soil as a test. I noticed yesterday what looked like a fungus gnat fly out of my worm bin and when I looked closer I saw these tiny kernels interspersed just below the top layer of newspapers. Is this a fungus gnat egg? I tried looking online for photos, but couldn't find any. I have other plants indoors and I would hate for them to develop fungus gnats.
