Yaaaaay for rain. We've had some but no where near enuf with this horrid heat wave. Your roses look beautiful!! Judy

So glad you're getting the rain you need!

Vansunny, the roses look wonderful with the rain drops - everything looks so lush - can't believe that you haven't had rain for 3 months!

Sharlene

Lookin good! Glad you got some rain!

What's going on when Vancouver is on water restrictions??!!!!

Whereas here in the dry prairies of Alberta, I've had so much rain that I have mushrooms growing in the lawn.

I'm really loving your Cinnamon Dolce and Love!!! Mmmmmm!!

Carol

If Gertrude were smaller I'd have her in an instant. More pics of her please.

No summer rain for Vancouver. Mother Nature is not taking good care of our PNW.

Carol, now is water restriction stage 3 which means no water on lawn, no water washing cars, decks, driveways & sidewalks. For flower & vegetable gardens, only if done by hand using a spring-loaded shut-off nozzle, or using containers or drip irrigation. No sprinklers & soaker hoses. No refilling for pool & pond.

Here are GJ, irisgal

OMG, your GJ rose is just stunning! I have heard that it has vicious thorns but from your pics, they don't look that bad. Is it as bad or worse than Munstead Wood? I love its beautiful pink color.

Thanks, Karen. I don't feel GJ has more thorns than other varieties. Between GJ & Munstead, I prefer GJ due to the stronger scent & straighter stems.
