Dated "Hollywood" bar lights in bathroom

Looking for ideas for my nephew's 1st home -- he has a "Hollywood" bar light in his bathroom that is part of a framed mirror so he would rather not replace it. Has anyone done anything creative with these typical bathroom lights to avoid removing and replacing ?

What material do you utilize ... how is it attached to the bulbs? Here is what his light looks like (if I attached it correctly) -- not as clear as your picture but I think you can get a good idea. It's framed in oak so I think it would need to be light in order to still provide good lighting -- let me know what you think ?!

We work in copper or stainless steel mixed with glass. Our most popular vanity light is the one I sent you in the previous message. We could perhaps make the back of it in the exact dimensions to replace your existing fixture which is embedded in the wooden frame.
