It's a perfectly fine question! I'm not an MG fan myself for AVs, but take a look at the analysis and see if it fits what you were using before. Chances are it's not the same. Generally, right above the analysis it will give you the standard nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium values. I think the all purpose type is something like 24-8-16. The stuff I use for avs is 10-10-10. The higher nitrogen content food I use for the variegated babies is 30-10-10 so you'd probably be OK for a little while-though it's also a little high in potassium. The bigger concern, I think, is where the nitrogen is coming from. If it's Urea Nitrogen then you stand a chance of burning roots. The tomato food we use (also MG) is 14% Urea Nitrogen out of an 18-18-32 breakdown. Perhaps diluting it enough would help-but I would stay away there were another alternative. Just FYI but the water-soluble AV MG food analysis is 0.5-1-0.5. Most of the Nitrogen content is from Urea.
