It might work but conifer shade is one of the toughest to garden under. Will they get enough sun in the springtime? The dormant season won't matter but they will need a decent amount of sun in the spring.

plant the species galanthus elwesii if you try it, the common snowdrop (galanthus nivalis) usually wants more summertime moisture... but the elwesii doesn't mind being completely dry.

i wonder if trout lilies would do well in your spot?

Actually little or no actual sunlight will penetrate as the canopy is quite heavy. I had hoped these bulbs may brighten the area up.

I will see if the supplier has G. elwesii- i hope they are readily available to at least try.

I'd think Trillium ovatum would work in these conditions, however I don't think affordable in these quantities.
