Kitchen Extention with Sunroom

Hi there,

As an amateur, this Houzz is very helpful and a good source of ideas from many professionals. I am not sure this Before & After is for my planning to get your advice, but hope you can help me.

My house is side split style and has a big backyard even though the kitchen is small. So I would like to add a sunroom and extend kitchen connecting with the sunroom. The first photo is my backyard seeing the side wall of kitchen.

Kitchen is located about 4 feet above the ground, so that I have to add sunroom on the base having some legs (columns). Therefore, it would be like following picture:

Floor Plan:

I want to have sunroom as a dining room by getting rid of the part of the wall. And at the end of the sunroom I can get to the deck thru sliding door.

I drew this picture with Microsoft Excel. It seems funny, but it is for just understanding my plan. I think it could be a big project but I don't have any construction experience. Before I start, I would like to get your some advices for my questions as below:

1. Insulation for the floor of sunroom and joist of kitchen and sunroom

Insulation is important for winter. The floor of sunroom may need insulation. Especially, I have to make the kitchen and sunroom seamless. Kitchen bricks wall and Sunroom's wood studs are different material. How I can have good insulation between the wall and sunroom's stud?

2. Roof of the Sunroom

I saw many sunrooms Houzz provides, then most of them are attached to a wall higher the sunroom's roof or stand alone looks good together with main building. But my kitchen has very low eaves of the roof. If the sunroom's roof is higher than the kitchen's roof, it would be poor exterior. So my plan is that lift up the kitchen's roof and it continuous to the sunroom's roof. I took a picture of satellite image from Google. You may see triangle roof starting of the new addition.

If I do this roof project, would it cost too much? Is this roof no good for a sunroom? I would like to hear as much advice as I can.

3. Total Cost, Estimation

To estimate the total cost, many things are considered and various, but as a professional, how much do you think this will cost and can you do this project?

Thanks for reading my plan and hope see kind and professional replies,
