I found the post on facebook. It's a v-graft and not flat graft. To me, that's making it even more complicated. LOL

Would love to see how well this works. It's an extremely interesting idea. I saw something similar on youtube where they cut 4 wedges out of a thick branch on the stock plant but I didn't fully understand what they were doing because it was in another language and I'm clueless to grafting at the moment.

Are those quartered and put down inside or how did they do it? Do you remember?

Edit: Here's the video I was thinking of Link Here ... it looks like they only do one at a time but it is the V-graft. Guess I just thought they could do more than one with enough room.

Not much information on their post. But it looks like they quartered four varieties. Then did some angled v cuts on the bottoms. Then did four angled v cuts into the stock plant. I'm sure there is some geometry term for that particular shape but I cannot think of one to better explain. Think how a crank shaft coupling would work if it had four angled v shaped prongs fitting into one another. Best scenario I can come up with. LOL

I have one that has been grafted with two scions (cleft graft) and Warunee's site used to have 3 & 4 scion from same site on root stock.
