Certainly doesn't look any worse for the wear. I agree with Stush, check and see if the roots are all wet or not. It appears to me (but I could be wrong) that something caused this plant to flower way early in its development. That's normally some sort of life threatening stress to the plant. Maybe it just dried out too much and got some water just in the nick of time and they were able to nurse it til it bloomed? I don't know why I felt the need to figure out the story behind what happened to your plant. Is anyone else as curious as I am?

laticuda: It was on clearance. Less than half price. My local Walmart and Lowes aren't very good at plant care. I think wherever I bought it, it must have been there a long time.

Clearance,that makes it all the better! That plant will respond well to the proper care you will be giving it. By next year You'll have a nice full plant. There was a discussion about flowering and growth afterwards. I'll have to see if I can find it. Or Stush, Tiffany or Russ could probably finish what I'm saying here, LOL
