I am building a new house and the kitchen is going to be open to living room with high end oven. Pro 48 SZ fridge and an island about 9x4. The question I have and need help with is that I have picked out honed dark granite for island and soapstone for cabinet around stove but I have hard wood throughout and want a stained natural wood for island base and cabinets. Is that to much wood or does someone out there have design idea for floor stain and natural wood stain for cabinet and island
