All of those things. ANd I would consider changing the filagreed white iron post on your front porch to a real wood, substantial one, which will modernize immensely. Update the house numbers to something modern and legible at the same time, and paint the downspouts to match the brick, if possible.

New wndows might also help update. Depends on whether you actually open these...

I love, love, love all the brickwork! But the red needs to go, it doesn't do anything to enhance the home. I would paint all the red areas the same color as the top brick. More plants, some flowers and perhaps a rain chain to replace the downspout.

I'd go with a gray roof, like your neighbors have. Gray is a great neutral.

I would replace each large window with three double-hungs. They are then operational. Paint the wood tan to match the brick. Remove the wrought iron post and replace with a white wooden one. Redo all landscaping
