Is this Aleppo?

I grew few hots from seeds, had them marked but couple of markers rubbed off and I can't figure out the names...this may be Aleppo since it was a short name (can tell from leftover smudges) - could anyone ID the fruit?

Here is more of the same plant if that helps:

TIA. Rina

It very well could be. Pods look right. Of course, some of my Paprika look like that too but they are darker. I need to see the bottom of the pepper. Aleppo looks a certain way.

Did you grow anything similar like Paprika style peppers.

Thank you for taking time...I didn't grow Paprika and really don't know anything about 'hots'...What I grew are: Aleppo, Peach Bhut Jolokia, Yellow Jelly Bean and NuMex Twilight.

Will have to take photo tommorow, it is too dark now.

Here is the photo of peppers - hopefully someone will recognize them?

    Hi Rina!

Question for you - did your Numex Twilights come out with purple leaves or green leaves? I grew some Bolivian Rainbows from seed, which looks incredibly similar to the Numex Twilight in photos online, except mine came out with purple leaves! Thanks for your help.

I just found a picture of Aleppo for you.

It's a long thread, but look for a post made on June 16 at 10.07 am. The poster, Vedabeeps, is growing several paprika varieties from seeds I sent her.

Thank you for your help. I have couple of Aleppo plants and both have unreadable labels :) Only one has fruit, other one is only blooming.

My NuMex Twilight has green leaves, fruit is purple.

Good news for me, Aleppo is growing well, 2 pods are still green but there are 9 more babies there...and here is another success:

(Is it supposed to be so contorted???)

Its fine. They do curl sometimes. Not sure about the tail though.

    ronny

    what about the tail?

Never seen one with a tail. Usually they are flat and have a 3-4 sided bottom. It could just have come out that way. Pods do weird things sometime. Nothing to worry about.

I must have senior moment :) forgot to say that it is different plant!!!(I just said 'another success' for me). First 3 photos are Aleppo and I believe the last one with contorted pod is Peach Bhutt Jolokia - at least that's the seeds I planted. This is first time I grew any hots and only know them from photos - fruit on PBJ doesn't look so twisted.

Aleppo is in previous photos. Sorry to confuse...Rina

LOL. now a twisted Peach Bhut I can believe. I never grew that one, so others can way in on it. If it is like other Bhuts, you may have to just wait for it to change color to confirm.

Thank you...and it has just a little 'blush' now so hoping for color - and maybe another pod or two :)

edit: There is another pod on the same plant (PBJ) and this one knows how it's suppose to grow...

I wonder if any will ripen, since night-time temps are now dropping to mostly low 60*F, but predicted for next week between 53-60*. Daytime for next 2 weeks predicted at 66-86*F...all over the place.

They should ripen. Will just be a bit slower. I'm in zone 4 in MN and last year I had pods that set in August ripening thru Sept on my xhots.....

Thank you, that's a good news. I have only few plants grown from seeds but I was quite late. Not that I see many flowers and few pods, I hope I get some - at least one pod of each variety I planted for more seeds. Not sure I want to eat them - probably not even taste!
