Well, maybe I will try again! I grow the AV's on wicks and they do so much better. Rosie

UPDATE: I am now growing Episcias and Gesneriads on wicks with GREAT success!!!! I don't know why it worked this time around but it is and I am so happy!!!!

So far I am growing Kee Wee, Bri Bri, and Pink Acajou!!! All on wicks!!!!

And I have started a Wish List for them also! Chocolate Soldier, Cleopatra and a few other old friends that I have killed in the far past head up the list!!! Rosie

my only thing - the name of "Chocolate Soldier" was used on so many different Episcias... nobody know what it is. Look for Episcia cupreata.

Love it! I have a few episcias myself. I have two that I have no clue what the names are...I went to visit a neighbor and she had one that was too the floor. Dark foliage with rich deep red flowers. She gave me some cuttings and since I have shared it probably three times! It grows very fast. So then after that I found one on ebay called "Pink Dream" which I have now and it is beautiful also.

Yes, they are growing fast. This is a very good feature of this plants.
