I posted this the other day but included photos afterward which may not have been shown with my written issue... Some have responded saying that using various shades of white will make the rooms appear larger, but that's not what I want to do with the paint color I choose. Both the living room and the kitchen are small spaces, and I am okay with that. Painting a small room a light color only gives the illusion that it's larger. I want to use the paint color to create not an illusion of more space; because I know it's small and that's immediately apparent. What I want is to create a mood so that once I enter these rooms I will feel embraced by the color so much so, that the size of the room will not matter or even be thought of. It's like breast implants, they're just an illusion!! Sooner or later someone is going to figure it out...ha, ha I want to make what I've got (small or large) look spectacular!
