Found this plant growing large and beautifully at the Detroit Zoo. Would love to have this in our garden. The photo doesn't do it justice. A striking plant, probably 3-4 tall and wide. My best guess is Mellow Yellow/Ogon Spirea. Am I way off? Is it a conifer? Needles/leaves seemed very soft. Any help greatly appreciated!
