Cut it down, it's too close to your house.

It is literally on your house. By the way, I don't think it gets enough sun, but it never will there, just get rid of it. Stick a nice pot of flowering plants there, it will look nice, and if you have to have work done, you can move the pot.

its a tree.. its a conifer ... but not really a shrub ... though i understand the common use of that word ...

all juniper are full sun plants... and yours isnt ...

they also suffer from juniper tip blight.. and there is no cure for that... based on the value of the plant ... it isnt worth spending 20 or 3o bucks to cure a 10 dollar plant ...

no tree or conifer has enough space there ...do not replant such

a prime example of planting a nice little plant.. with no concept of the tree its going to grow up to be ... crikey.. if it lives.. its going to be on the eave soon ...

I will contemplate another plant for that area (after I relocate the walkway further out from the house to give the next plant more room).

i would skip the labor of moving the walkway .. and find some perennial that fits in the place given ...

even if you double or triple the space.. a tree or conifer.. will not really be proper there ...

what about a trellis.. and a vine.. like clematis.. or morning glory???
