Transplants not sprouting

I cut some branches off a mature fig tree. They already had good roots setup on them. They were then put into potting soil and kept in a sunny location, kept damp.

Everything I read said to remove all the leaves. So I did. Currently two of the cuttings have been moved to a mixture of perlite and soil. They have roots but no leaves. The last one I left in its pot because it was sprouting a small bit of new growth (which wilted and died).

Now there is no growth on any of them. Should I just start over or give it until next year?
