I'm not sure that would help, the leaves are turning yellow most likely due to not having roots.Try to increase humidity. You might remove a few of the leaves so the trunk doesn't have to try to supply the water to all those extra leaves. Though the plant needs to photosynthesis,it currently can't supply the water fast enough to counter use and transpiration. Increasing the humidity should slow the water loss. Some people cut leaves in Half to reduce the water needs. You could experiment on a few of the stalks instead of taking irrevocable action on all of them. Good luck. Update: So I did as I said above... I re-cut a smaller amount (one or two nodes up), submerged in rooting hormone and re-placed in bottled water. Unfortunately about 3 succumbed. But I'm happy to report I have 2 cuttings with new roots! And one I can see is about to root. I have 3 other cuttings that still haven't rooted but i'm holding out hope. At least one of the 3 look healthy enough to root. Thanks again. I'm super excited. First propagation attempt!!
