Curing winter squash right now

So I had some volunteer winter squash this year, as I have posted earlier. Usually I try to time things so my winter squash harvest happens in mid October, but with these volunteers, I am going to have a ton of winter squash to harvest before September gets here. Is it too warm out to let the squash cure in full sun right now? I have harvested one already, but it is in my back room on a table at about 80 degrees, no direct sunlight though. Normally, I would put them out on my back patio in those plastic milk crates. The patio currently gets about 5 hours of full, brutal sun right now with quite a bit more partial. I really do not want to fry my squash, but I do want them to get cured properly. Thoughts? Suggestions?
