I love to see milties, but didn't know they are scented.

I keep coming back to this one. I AM trying them and will bring inside next summer! thx for selling me:-)

Hi Inga...I am new to Milts...got this last year and although it did not flower last year...it doubled in size. There are a few that are known for their fragrance, mainly Andrea West HOF and Herr Alexander. My Andrea West blooms are just finished over the past month and have to say it was powerful. As I would come downstairs in the mornings, the whole first floor would be powerfully fragrant. Unfortunately, for me it was not one of my favorite fragrances, more like very strong sickly sweet pollen. All noses differ in perception though. Others can smell like fresh rhubarb, roses, or violets. For me in Florida, these seem as easy as Phals, and since I bring them in during summer I don't suffer the bacterial rot issues I do with other orchids left outside during summer. Lovely, thanks for posting more photos, of "Pansy faces". Now you have "interested" my nose, in finding a nicely scented one, at the next orchid show. (in Sept.) It's a 60+ mile trip, but well worth it.
