What a steal! There's no way you could stick to your original decision. Besides, this way you already know whether that rose does well for you or not. I can't even imagine a rose, even one on sale, being this inexpensive here, or even finding Earthkind roses in a local nursery. It sounds as though you made some great choices.

Congratulations! That's an awesome sale ... I might be going to Lubbock, TX in December or January, are roses out or no?

Wow!! Good job!!!

You can look forward to that incredible scent!!

That's a great bargain! We have some sales going on around here too but nothing that good. And I don't buy roses in the fall here. They don't seem to have enough time to settle in to make through the winter so it's kind of a waste of money at any price.

I asked at the nursery about planting them this time of the year and they suggested just keeping them watered and leave them in morning sun since that is what they'll be in. Then put them in ground when it is cooler. We are under drought conditions again and the ground is so dry it is just soaking up any moisture and I'm afraid the roots would have trouble getting enough. Since our first frost isn't until late November I think they'll be okay to keep them in nursery pots for a few weeks.

Thanks for the info on Lubbock Beth ... I really appreciate it. Everytime I go to the mainland I always seem to miss the prime bloom season.

Just looked up both Marie Daly and Royal Highness, such pretty soft pink colors! Our local garden grows Memorial Day (heady scent) and Twilight Zone (vivid colors) and I grow Neptune, so seeing your other roses, I have no doubt you'll be posting perfect picture models of each of those.

That is a great deal! Beautiful roses too.

So envious here at the wonderful selections you have to choose from. Oh my the prices I'd be pushing and dragging a cart.

Shame on you! (For making us feel deprived, lol)
