Off to my Favorite Cactus & Succulent nursery!!!

Tomorrow, I am on my way to my favorite C & S Nursery about an 1hrs. drive. Taking him some of my plants to trade. Works well for me to down size. Only for a short time that is. Probably would be better to say, make room for new.

Will see if Jamey will let me take some photo's of his plants. Such a wonderful place and makes me wish I could have a small greenhouse like his at home. So beautiful.

Well, what a day. Three hours at the nursery talking and browsing and I still feel as though I did not see it all. At least all of the plants. He now has two more small greenhouses adjoining the original not to speak of the sunroom off the house.

He actually did ask if I wanted a greenhouse built, as his job is construction and he built his own as well as for others.

I would have to win the Lottery to do so.

It is like being a kid in a candy store, almost overload and too much stimulation. I could have spent the day just perusing each nook and cranny of this nursery. Best thing is that he ships all over the world!!

Yeah...my wallet would not come out of there intact, that's for sure. So lovely.

Looks a nice place Rick and could spend a pretty penny in there lol. A have various cacti and succulents myself but my love although pretty new is adenium and a while back got myself a few caudiciforms which I also like but again still learning about. I have a young dorstenia gigas which if I can keep alive will be nice in several years or so, and i also have an Ibervillea which is a decent size, no wonder I never have any money with a hobby like this ;)

Me too, if we win the lottery I can tell you now I would have a greenhouse or 3 just for adeniums.....ahhh sheer bliss ;)

Score! You did really well today. It looks like there may be a couple of seedlings in with your Pachypodium 'decaryi' which was a very good selection! Looking forward to seeing your Discorea 'elephantipes mature to look like the specimen in the photo. Good haul, Rick. You showed true restraint and control getting out of there with so few.

Amazing choice Rick!I particularly liked the tortoise back type cactus. ..what's it called? Seems awesome.

It is tuff Nicholas. Every time I go, I never feel that I have seen it all and always feel the need to go back. He has so much and I have to admit there are so many different types that I have not a clue what they are.

So glad to have him quite close.
