As a medium tone, they're in-between dark floors and white ceiling.... I'd leave it for a while...

It's just the bottom bricks don't match at all. It's where the hearth I guess it's called used to be... They took it off and now it's mismatched.

If so maybe like this owner, you could "make do" - here the grout is different tones.... try a dry brush over the imperfections [with as close a paint color as you can get to brick]...

if that doesn't look good you can always paint the whole thing.. .
