Brugmansia produce seed by cross-pollination, so the seeds very rarely grow true to the parent plant. Every seed within the same seed pod has the potential to grow into something different, but many end up being single white blooms. Also, Brugmansia very rarely bloom during the first season, and would need to be overwintered so the blooms can be enjoyed the following year! Even though Brugmansia and Datura look similar, Datura is more of a annual and Brugmansia is more of a tender perennial. Also, Datura creates seed pods like crazy and they "ripen" within about a month ..... None of my Brugmansia blooms have created a seed pod yet, and it will take them several months to ripen if they do.
