I have grown like many of these around a stone/ gavel/ soil area near a pool area acting like an 'fence'. They are done well. During the coming fall.. do I need to cut or remove them so that they can grown again during spring or they will die and I have to plant them again? Should I cover them or just cut them till near the stem area so that they can come back? Do I need to add fertilizers or anything?
