Interesting question. Have you asked in the technical support part of the forum? Do they have one of those? Short of that, maybe use the "contact us" link and ask the Houzz team themselves.

Jan there is a problem with Houzz, there is not a message button on all users profile page. Only a user that I emailed just before or maybe when Gardenweb/Houzz first switched, has the message button needed. I began following Denise who's profile didn't show a message button when I wanted to email her. Your's doesn't either just checked it. See below instructions, hope it works for you.

At the bottom of the page click on FAQs, then scroll about halfway down the page looking at the right column for Misc, directly below it is "How can I message other Houzz users."

I am using a phone, not a computer. Maybe it is the web app, but I can't find contact info on either site. I just want to ask about a plant he mentioned in a video, I didn't quite catch the name even though I listened to it several times. I want that Hoya, lol.

Was he able to get back with you yet? He was being trolled pretty hard last week....I hope it didn't get to him.

He did. And it did. :/ It is upsetting to me how quickly one negative attitude can set of a firestorm of trouble in an otherwise great community.

not the houzz app for android, cant even get to garden web on it -pout- tried it at work

Stacy, it is under "advice" then garden Web forums. Or just look for a square with a picture and garden Web forums written at the bottom.

after using the app on a tablet and the mobile version of the website, I prefer the mobile version over the app.

the mobile app sucks. Well, for our purposes anyway.

If you go to the activity button on the members page, you'll see a message button. BUT only if the member has gone in to their settings and changed it to "allow anyone to email me." It's a challenge to find that page!
