If you were to ask on the AZ Gardening area, there are a couple of people there (who don't look here much) that are trustworthy and sharp.

I love the tangerine crossvine (with the tangerine flowers), I actually just recommended it to someone else! Here is a pic for you. I have it in my yard and it is fairly low litter. They can take the heat and the frost and flower off and on all year.Love it! I also attached the skyflower which I also love and placed fairly close to the pool. My favorite vine here is my Coral Vine. Pink and white will be planted shortly. They draw the bees like crazy. I love feeding the bees. They pay zero attention to me and I can be right on top of them. More focused on the pollen. I promise they won't pay any attention to you. Our bees are having a difficult time now, so I'm glad to promote them. I hope to surround my entire yard with Coral Vine. I might get reckless an order a red vine plant. It should be evergreen for you. Although it's drought tolerant, I watered it and brought it zooming back to life. The next week, I fed it. Oh my, blooms coming out the wazoo!

Another one worth checking into is Corkscrew vine. It might be evergreen in your zone. I'm in 8b.

Send me an email. I've got seeds of the hot pink Coral Vine that I can give you. While it is drought tolerant, watering and feeding increased the blooms like crazy. I think this is be best vine for you. Evergreen in warmer areas. I'm in Zone 8b, so it's like an extended perennial. I'm starting seeds to spread around my entire fence. You'll love it!
