I am redoing the kitchen and my favorite appliance in my last kitchen was my SZ ice maker. We loved the clear ice and it had a gravity drain. This unit was a 2002 model, so I wanted to see how the new models stack up.

1) If you have a current version (315), what do you think of it?

2) Should I go with the gravity drain if I can? I assume it will be quieter, but wanted to get feedback

3) I really loved the ice from the SZ, so is there anything else I should consider?
