Cutting shelf liner

I just wanted to share with you something that really helped me out!!

I did my research, considered my circumstances, talked to my cabinet maker, and decided to go with a non adhesive shelf liner for my new cabinets. I ended up using duck smooth top easy liner. I was using measuring tape, a marking pencil, scissors and a square, but my perfectionist personality was so unhappy with my crooked cuts. I did a bit more research, and saw a blog that recommended using a rotary cutter, clear ruler for the cutter, and cutting mat - something that is used for sewing or quilting. I am in love with it!! My cuts are straight and square, my measurements exact, and no more marking my material. It is so quick and satisfying. If anyone is cutting similar liners(and has a lot to do!), I strongly recommend it!
