What are you needing to achieve: privacy, room darkening, insulating or _____?

Need a soft darkening in the room. We get a lot of sun on the south side. When we are at the cabin in the summer days are sometime warm. Pulling shade would help with the cooling.

Hello.....you know a REALLY good Interior Designer! Me.

I would do a "roll up" shade except that it would pull up from the floor rather than the top of the window. One on each side of the door and one over the door. The very top parts of the windows wouldn't be covered, but you would maintain the integrity of the window design when the shades are not extended. I would work with a designer to get the "not extended" look as invisible as possible.

Good luck!
