Yum! Which apple tree do you have? I didn't know they did well in Phoenix.

I am in the Verde Valley which is about 10 dg cooler than Phoenix. They do ok but could be better. Sometimes they get a little sun burned. If I had to do it all over again I would side line both apple trees and planted something else. .......Hind site

what varieties do you have campv? I'm growing an anna and a beverly hills. The beverly hills looks like it's handling the heat pretty well (not so much the wind, but that might be my watering practices). The anna had some trouble with yellowing leaves but I gave it some epsom salts and its looking much better.

Golden delicious and Jonagold (resembles Jonathan) Had a Anna in So. Cal and it was a great tree. Put on apples 3 times a year. I use ironite and just regular fert. rake it in and fill the well with water. In emergency I fill a 5 gal bucket with water, cup or so of ironite let it set for a day or two, stir and I have liquid ironite. No yellowing yet, they are 11 years old. I do this 2-3 times a year depending.
