Can you do both? One's on one side of the yard and the other is on the opposite. Have the pavers extend in a path to the wood patio. Will you be using the area or is it an unused but visible spot? Looks like a nice cool place for a drink so some chairs and a little table would be nice.

That's an interesting thought- we hadn't thought about it. We were hoping to preserve enough grass area to play bean bag toss or have our little one enjoy some sprinkler time, so I'm not sure I could get the husband on board. I should mention it's smaller than it looks. About 20ft by 40 ft.

Thanks! Our side yard is more of an actual yard for us since we are in a townhome, but these are some great traditional side yard options! Our yard area just happens to be on the side, but we're hoping to use it similar to the way would would use a yard (minus the luxury or privacy!)
